Chill Day during Seattle's Heatwave

Day 4 here in Seattle was a good day for a slow, chill break for everyone.   We're finally getting used to the Pacific time zone, sleeping in a little later and taking it slow.   We headed out for some food around 10:30 a.m., wandered around the market again, and did a little shopping.  Good day to take it slow - that heatwave is unbelievable - almost 90 again today!

We went down to the waterfront and sampled some Northwest oysters at Elliotts Oyster House:  Dabob Bay from North Hood Canal, Barron Point from South Sound, Komo Gway from Nanaimo British Columbia, Hammersly from South Sound and Mystery Bay from Marrowstone Island.   While all were tasty, the beach oysters were the favorites (Dabob Bay and Mystery Bay).

We're off to Shiro's for dinner tonight - best sushi restaurant in Seattle!
